About Us

Switzer Land and Auction Services is a professional auction company specializing in selling equipment, livestock, real estate sales and estate sales for over 30 years. Switzer Auction Services is owned and operated by Mark and Glenda Switzer of Bellville, Texas. We have been in business since 1986. Our services include confidential consultation, appraisals, advertising, hauling, storage, pre-sale maintenance, clerking, settlement, and private treaty sales.

We conduct farm, ranch and construction equipment sales at our 20 acre facility in Sealy, Texas as well as throughout the state. We have built a reputation of honesty and reliability. In the past five years alone we have served over 4,000 satisfied consignors. We are insured for liability by the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company for $1,000,000 and are fully licensed and bonded through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Mark has bilingual auctioneering capabilities and is currently licensed as an auctioneer in the states of Texas and Louisiana. He has received the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation, the highest designation in the auction industry. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, and the Texas Auctioneers Association, and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
